If so, we have the perfect position for you! We are currently hiring a forklift operator for a fast-paced local distribution facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

transportation Clean background Forklift experience within the last year Longevity in past roles (You will not be called if you have not held a position for at least 1 year) salary: $13.5 – $13.51 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM – 3
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift vehicle for the purpose of moving, stacking, replenishment, staging, and loading and unloading material for shipment. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and will also be required to perform order pulling duties as needed. Sit down forklift experience required Basic computer skills required Marks materials with identifying information Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed and maintains inventory records Counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards Uses computer to enter records and compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications Performs daily cycle counts, locates and identifies inventory adjustments and errors. High School diploma or GED required Previous warehouse experience required The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsSkillsSit Down Forklifts (1 year of experience is required)Order PullingBasic Computer Skills (1 year of experience is required)Cycle CountingQualificationsYears of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: Entry LevelRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
