The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety while ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and order pickers, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and management to optimize workflow and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Experience Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Experience in shipping, receiving, and distribution center operations is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. A strong understanding of safety regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse environments.
