A GLANCE

Broad River Retail is currently seeking various people to join our Operations Team at our warehouse in Four Oaks, NC. The Furniture Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a RF for movement of product within the warehouse. Safely operate all material handling equipment and stock picker lift. Safely load and unload products for distribution, customer pick up and or storage.

DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER

• Loads & unloads trucks at the warehouse loading dock without damaging products
• Unload furniture manually or with hand trucks
• Identify and communicate any physical damages
• Sort unloaded items on to carts by size, type, or product code
• Use RF scanner to systemically receive inventory
• Maintain building, grounds, and equipment cleanliness
• Exhibit personal excellence by accepting cross-training opportunities
• Maintain personal and facility safety by following all material handling and warehouse safety guidelines
• Operating recycling machinery
• Sorting and processing dunnage
• Follow company attendance policy
• All other duties as assigned

WORKPLACE ENVIROMENT

While performing the duties of this job the employee is:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch on concrete flooring
• Must be able to routinely lift or move objects up to 75 pounds alone and team lift objects over 75 pounds

Details:

Each new hire will be brought in on contract for the first 90 days of employment with the intention of being converted to a permanent Broad River Retail employee.
