Forklift Operator/Material Handler 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Marshville, NC 28103 Bilingual in
Spanish and English Day Shift Position Basic Function :
Perform a variety of material handling responsibilities to include a daily count of production. Correctly load Pallets onto either a flatbed or van Use specs from PDS to accurately look for pallets and correctly stencil pallets Confirm count from schedule is correct Make sure pallets are built to spec and none are broken May have to strap down trailers and confirm no pallets were broken during the strapping procedure Make sure pallets on flats are straight after loading Remove pallets from Heat Treater and reload Heat Treater correctly Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Excellent attendance Excellent had eye coordination Ability to pass the Company’s forklift license program Ability to read and write Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Knowledge of basic shop math Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees Monitor and inspect forklift daily to assure proper care Work in a safe manner Good peripheral vision Keep work area clean an orderly

Maintain constant flow of material to designated areas
