Forklift Operator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Job Description Onin Staffing is looking for Forklift Operators in the Wendell, NC area. The Forklift Operators are responsible for shipping and receiving heavy equipment such as Tractors, ZTRs, and UTVs, and implements. The equipment can weigh up to 7,000 pounds and requires extreme care while moving to prevent unnecessary damages. Equipment will be unloaded from Ocean Containers for Receiving and loaded onto Vans and Flatbeds for shipping. Competitive pay rates. Monday to Friday. 1st shift – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Temp to Perm. What you’ll do as: Forklift Operators Unload Tractors, UTVs, TRs , attachments/implements, and other Parts from Ocean Containers. Operate large forklifts with extreme care in order to move heavy equipment throughout the facility. Load different styles of trucks with an assortment of heavy equipment such as Tractors, UTVs, and ZTRs. Complete daily inspection reports for assigned machines and identify operational issues. Ability to identify appropriate equipment to pull for orders. Work Experience The preferred candidate might: Experience in warehouse distribution environment. Prior experience operating a Forklift.
