JOB SUMMARY
Hilldrup is seeking an experienced forklift operator who will be responsible for loading and unloading freight trucks by operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The incumbent will be responsible for accurately receiving and picking product with use of the Warehouse Management Systems, while operating safely and efficiently at all times. This position has daily contact with drivers, operations personnel, local service providers, customer service personnel, as well as customers and vendor’s representatives.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates 3 and 4-stage forklift, pallet jacks and cherry pickers. Takes exceptions on inbound shipments, inputs data into WMS. Loads outbound shipments and updates the WMS Maintains neat, accurate paperwork. Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs up and up to 200 lbs. in a team carry. Keeps assigned warehouse safe and clean. Keeps facility and grounds clean. Runs sweeper in and around assigned area. Available to work on Saturdays when needed. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience:
Six months to one year minimum of forklift experience required.
License/Certification:
Certified Forklift Operator.
PHYCICAL REQUIRMENTS
Primary Work Location:
Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs, and up to 200 lbs. in a team carry. Works in an office environment.
