General Warehouse/Forklift Operator New River Distilling Co. Deep Gap, NC 28618 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and keep inventory within our warehouse. In addition, the role involves organizing warehouse space, wrapping pallets for shipping or storage, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Execute order picking duties, accurately selecting items from inventory based on order specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols established by the company. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity within the facility. Experience Previous experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) A valid forklift operator certification is desirable but not mandatory Attention to detail and organizational skills.
