Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck to join our team. The ideal candidate willoperateg a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform routine pre and post-inspections on forklift equipment
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Utilize forklifts to pick orders and stage products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, lift trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of materials handling practices
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
