Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our coffee production team. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment that grinds, flavors, and packages whole bean and ground coffee. You’ll ensure products meet quality and safety standards and help keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate grinders, flavor mixers, and packaging machines (e.g., Pester, Pineberry, Adco) Set up and fill super sacks, bins, and mobile carts with ground or whole bean coffee Accurately label containers with blend, grind, and production details Perform basic quality checks, including grind analysis and weight verification Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs to keep production on track Work closely with the packaging team to keep lines supplied and running Complete data entry and production logs using systems like SAP Maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow all safety and food safety protocols Handle forklifts to move materials and finished goods Assist during changeovers and clean equipment when switching products or flavors Follow lockout/tagout procedures and wear required

PPE Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Basic math, reading, and computer skills Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred Forklift certification or willingness to become certified Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in environments with dry, cool, and freezer zones Willingness to work overtime as needed

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required Must follow food safety and sanitation rules at all times
