Receiving Clerk/Forklift Operator TeleSearch Staffing – 3.9 Wayne, NJ Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Driver’s License Shipping & receiving Entry level Load & unload Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will support our operations by assisting with all shipping and receiving aspects of our company. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks that aid in the efficient and safe completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong sense of time organization, urgency and ability to multitask. Loading/unloading shipments from trucks with a forklift Arrange for the most cost-efficient means of moving product to its destination while meeting customer deadlines Coordinate shipping with various transportation providers including UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc Utilize in-house software to create purchase orders and to process sales orders Prepare bills of lading and shipping documents for outbound shipments Pack & seal shipments going out Maintain overall shipping and receiving schedule for the company Track all shipments and be able to report on status of shipments as required Follow up on any shipping problems or issues Maintain rental equipment tracking spreadsheets Communicate with Sales, Operations and vendors to assure our ability to deliver on time Identify and resolve issues related to shipments and inventory Receive packages and compare both the purchase order and packing slip and enter in internal computer software Run expected reports in internal computer software to track what/when orders are scheduled to arrive and follow up with buyer if expected date has passed Ability to work well independently as well as with colleagues Other related duties as assigned.
