Job Description Job Description Starting at 100% union scalewage day 1 available to eligible candidates who apply before9/30/25 ($31.77) Job Description Pickup and delivery of cargo toand from various destinations usually within proximity of theconsolidation/distribution center. The loading and unloading oftrailers utilizing the same techniques, technology and proceduresas a dock worker. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending onterminal location. Responsibilities

• Exercise independent judgmentregarding the building and tearing down of the trailer to utilizetime, resources, energy, and physical demands effectively andefficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Operate aforklift as needed.
• Perform various tasks ranging from check-in,tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup anddelivery of cargo.
• Complete routine paperwork effectively, andproperly log loading sheets.

Requirements Education:

• High SchoolDiploma /

GED Experience:

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailerexperience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may beeligible for training).

Certifications:

• Class-A CDL withdoubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stablework record.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previousemployment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen andmeet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hours required forthis position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/orweekends. Being able to work the required hours at this locationwill be considered a minimum requirement. Benefits

Compensation:

• This is a hourly position paid weekly.
• Inaccordance with the New York State Equal Pay for Equal Work Act,the pay range for this position is $28.

59 to $31.77 per hour withovertime paid after 8 hours for full-time employees.
