Duties Operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks, to move materials safely throughout the yard. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials are accurately documented and handled. Utilize pallet jacks for efficient movement of goods within the yard. Perform order picking duties, selecting items as per customer requests or inventory needs. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Working outdoors rain or shine Requirements Previous experience in materials handling or yard work is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks is highly desirable. Availability Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus. Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations. Excellent physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
