CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time Position Available In Blair, Pennsylvania

Job Description Job Description Starting at 100% union scalewage day 1 available to eligible candidates who apply before6/30/25 ($30.25) Job Description Pickup and delivery of cargo toand from various destinations usually within proximity of theconsolidation/distribution center. The loading and unloading oftrailers utilizing the same techniques, technology and proceduresas a dock worker. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending onterminal location. Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Exercise independent judgmentregarding the building and tearing down of the trailer to utilizetime, resources, energy, and physical demands effectively andefficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws.
• Complete routine paperwork effectively, and properly log loadingsheets.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Perform various tasksranging from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up,and the pickup and delivery of cargo. Benefits

Wages are Teamster Union Scale which are greater than most othercarriers! Hourly employees also receive overtime pay after 8hours/day.

Requirements Education:

• High School Diploma /

GEDExperience:

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience(Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible fortraining).

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stable work record.
• Safe driving record (from MVR andprevious employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drugscreen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hoursrequired for this position vary by location and may include days,nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours atthis location will be considered a minimum requirement.
• Have aClass-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materialsendorsements and no automatic restriction.

Compensation:

• This is a hourly position paid weekly.
