Job Description Job Description Job Description Pickup anddelivery of cargo to and from various destinations usually withinproximity of the consolidation/distribution center. The loading andunloading of trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology andprocedures as a dock worker. Actual duties and schedule may varydepending on terminal location. Responsibilities

• Load and unloadcargo.
• Perform various tasks ranging from check-in,tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup anddelivery of cargo.
• Exercise independent judgment regarding thebuilding and tearing down of the trailer to utilize time,resources, energy, and physical demands effectively andefficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Complete routine paperwork effectively, and properly log loadingsheets. Requirements
• High School Diploma / GED
• 1 year ofverifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1year experience may be eligible for training).
• Class-A CDL withdoubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and noautomatic restriction
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stable workrecord.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medicalrequirements.
• Shift days and hours required for this positionvary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends.

Being able to work the required hours at this location will beconsidered a minimum requirement. Benefits

• Make more money! Wagesare Teamster Union Scale which are greater than most othercarriers! Hourly employees also receive overtime pay after 8hours/day.
