Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previousforklift experience required, certification preferred Ability towork a flexible schedule as needed Basic reading, writing, and mathskills

Responsibilities:

The Forklift Operator will be responsiblefor receiving incoming goods and preparing product for shipment, aswell as loading trucks. Move pallets from palletizers and relocatematerials and all other requested tasks.

Essential Job Duties:

• Unloads trucks, examines incoming goods and signs for incominggoods, noting any discrepancies.
• Reviews bills of lading todetermine what is to be shipped.
• Stages products and suppliesbefore trucks arrive, including restacking damaged or partialpallets as needed.
• Loads trucks with forklift and by hand ifneeded.
• Cleans and organizes the warehouse in an efficientmanner.
• Communicates with shipping personnel, shift supervisors,regarding problems, product information, etc.
• Understands andperforms proper pallet tag, lot number recording procedures.
• Ableto work in a fast paced environment in a safe manner GMP & PPERequired While on the production floor in the plant you will berequired to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in theplant.

Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMPrules in their employee handbook, which includes the requiredhairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that allpersonnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operatingprocedures including quality checks and procedures for alloperations. Meets food safety and quality objectives and therequirements of the SQF System.
