Hazleton, PA 18202General Summary…. The Forklift Operator II is primarily responsiblefor safely operating complex powered material handling equipment(includes the Order Picker, Turret, Drexel, etc.) for the purposeof product receipt, storage and order fulfillment. This position isresponsible for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.
This position will be responsible for… Full case order picking forreplenishment, customer orders and packaging components. Palletretrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions. Loading andunloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, byhand or equipment. Sorting, building and wrapping product topallets to ensure compliance to customer expectation. Maintainaccuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts androutine inventory maintenance tasks. Perform other distributionwork functions as needed due to business volume and need. You mightbe a great fit if…. Education/Experience High school diploma orequivalent. 1 years’ experience with daily power equipmentoperations preferred. 6-months minimum is required. Must meet allPPE and fall protection requirements. Ability to operate poweredcomplex material handling equipment, i.e. Order Picker, Turret,Drexel, etc. Not afraid of working on equipment at extendedheights. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail andflexibility in meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Customer service driven Strong team player.
