Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker East Coast Tube Corporation Milton, PA 17847 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will also possess a valid CDL license for occasional regional deliveries. This person will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure the smooth flow of materials within our facility. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and supporting our warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks, to load and unload materials. Move products within the warehouse using a warehouse management system to track inventory. Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation. Collaborate with team members to build pallets and organize products for shipment. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery in compliance with company policies. Assist in training new operators on safe forklift operation practices. Handling steel tube & basic metal shop duties like bandsaw cutting. Qualifications Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including cranes and cherry pickers. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for effective order picking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
