Front Transporter 2nd Shift 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Williamston, SC 29697 Phillips Staffing is seeking a Transporter to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in Williamston, SC that offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days!
Responsibilities:
Review the run schedule with the operator and stage upcoming rolls. Use the off-line wrapping machines to wrap first quality rolls. Use a double-pole forklift to move finished rolls from the doff table. Use the forklift to cradle the rolls from underneath, rather than picking them up through the middle. Put scrap rolls in the skid pans next to the machine. Move any rolls in the hold area that have been given tickets to the appropriate location. Assist with doffing whenever necessary. Monitor the amount of tape strips at the winder and tear more whenever they are running low. Retrieve the appropriate tubes that are needed at the machine and make sure they do not run out. Move tubes that are no longer needed away from the take-up area.
Requirements:
Basic written, communication and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions Forklift experience High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to left 40lbs at various times throughout the day
Shift Schedule:
2nd Shift, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
Pay Rate:
$15.15/Hour #IND3
