Job Description
Reach Truck Operator/Forklift Operator Brown Packing Co., Inc. 116 Willis St, Gaffney, SC 29341 Overview Start time will be 4:00 am End time veries depending on production and shipping needs Working in cooler/freezer temps 16-32 degrees Some Saturdays Need to be able to lift 80lbs Duties
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory control as needed Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA standards for warehouse operations
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
