Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator Morcon, Inc. 2598 James Baker Blvd, Great Falls, SC 29055 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Duties Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following warehouse management system guidelines. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure mechanical reliability and safety compliance. Build pallets or stacks of products as needed for storage or shipping purposes. Skills Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse setting. Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance. Experience with order picking processes and familiarity with warehouse management systems. Ability to effectively load and unload materials while ensuring safety standards are met. Previous experience working in a distribution center is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
