As a Forklift Operator, you will perform various duties using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications of the job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, big or small forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management. Clean and prepare production site as needed, including moving supplies, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials. Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the production site on a daily basis. Load and unload metal supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment. Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR by incident reporting procedures established by the company. All other work as directed by supervision

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s license One or more years of experience in lifting heavy machinery and components. Ability to work various hours to include the weekends when needed Ability to lift heavy equipment, stack, and organize Excellent stamina High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work well with others
