Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, have hands-on experience operating a forklift in the past 12 months, and bemitted to ensuring smooth and efficient material handling and storage. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment, as well as assisting with inventory management in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse.
Load and unload shipments of goods, ensuring proper placement andanization.
Assist in inventory control by moving materials to designated storage areas.
Ensure all material handling equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of materials moved, inventory counts, and shipment status.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and sorting orders.
Ensure that all work areas are clean,anized, and free from hazards.
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification (required).
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift within the last 12 months.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Strongmunication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to [weight] pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to provide 1-2 professional job references.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inventory management systems.
Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
Work Conditions:
Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
Occasional overtime may be required depending on workload.

Pay Details:
$18.00 to $19.00 per hour
