Olsten Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced 1st Shift Forklift Operator for one of our clients located in the Mullins, SC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order picker duties and manual tasks as assigned. Candidate Must have a valid Drivers License.
- Enter inventory data into inventory tracking system
- Work in other departments as a fill-in if needed
- Pull rework and reassemble
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Keep legible records
- Stack and unstack pallets
- Operate stretch wrap machine
- Load and unload all types of trucks and materials
- Do simple maintenance checks on forklifts
- Drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED preferred

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must be able to drive a forklift in an efficient and safe manner
o Must be proficient in reading and math
o Must be able to work without supervision
o Must be able to follow directions
o Computer literate for data entry

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- GMP’S
o General safety
o Controlling food allergens in the plant
o Forklift safety

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
