Job Title:
Material handler
Pay:
$20+ with room to grow.
Shift:
(Night shift) 6:35 PM – 6:45 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Training:
must be able to train on day shift for the first few weeks.
What you will do:
Receive and move raw materials and parts to prescribed departments and locations in a timely manner Load finished goods onto trucks for out-going shipments Supply production lines with necessary materials when required Move miscellaneous scrap materials out of production areas to warehouse or yard Label and identify product correctly and move inventory via BES software Keep work areas clean and orderly Strictly adhere to all plant safety rules Take active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale. Performs other tasks as assigned. What We Look For High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required. Valid forklift license, or the willingness and ability to operate a forklift, is preferred. Strong team player Must be able to multi-task in a heavy manufacturing hands-on environment. What We Do Here Our fully integrated plant in West Union, South Carolina produces all the parts that go into batteries used in cars, boats, and heavy-duty trucks. We began operations in 1985 and now employ more than 300 people and operate six days per week.
