The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, to ensure the efficient movement of materials and products within the warehouse. A strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations is essential. Duties Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse. Load and unload products from trucks and containers using pallet jacks and forklifts. Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records using a warehouse management system. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times. Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with stand up forklifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Strong understanding of safety standards and OSHA regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a plus.
