Warehouse Driver Palmetto Paper & Specialties Blythewood, SC 29016 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team Wednesday – Friday. This position involves both driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, warehouse operations, and possess mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment handling. Duties Safely operate a van for in state deliveries. Load and unload materials from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage. Assist in warehouse operations, including organization of stock. Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading heavy items when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and mechanical reliability. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively.
