Forklift Operator Find Great People Landrum, SC 29356 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, overhead cranes, rigging attachments, and clamp trucks, to efficiently move heavy products and materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary. Duties Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly stored. Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and productivity. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery. Qualifications Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center is preferred. Proficiency in operating cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) as required by the job duties. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
