Position Summary:

The responsibility of this position is to maintain all customer orders are complete and accurately staged for shipping on the designated ship or pick-up date required. Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks and making sure outbound trucks are carefully loaded with regards to weight, pallet count, and damage control.

Description of Duties:

Ensure all finished products are correct, damage free and all pallets are sturdy and acceptable for shipment. Responsible for pulling products and ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded on the pallet and in its location. Detail-oriented checking quantities, lot numbers, placards, etc. Make sure all product is shipped within FIFO Requirements. Load efficiently and move product in and out of trucks as indicated by work order. Shrink wrap all pallets as needed. Work well on own and with others, ensure orders are completed as required for shipment. Responsible for knowing and understanding customer requirements needed for shipments, ensuring trucks are not overweight or pallet count is over for care delivery. All orders are completed in timely manner maintain order completion 1 day ahead . Responsible for keeping all raw materials and finished goods in designated locations. Make sure all pallets are QA-approved before moving into the location. Ensure all shipments are complete with proper documentation and inspected before shipment. Process and verify all inbound shipments, check BOL and packing slips for necessary information proper receiving criteria. Check product for any damage and note as needed, communicate with lead/ supervisor. Make sure all inbound items are counted, check lots, allergens, and all documents are completed prior to turning into Shipping coordinator for processing. All product is labeled with red stickers for QA approval and any allergen labels as needed. Transfer orders are checked, verified, and completed before transfer or upon receipt of transfer. Transfer items raw materials labeled with allergen labels and make sure all items are labeled with barcode as needed. Inbound Finished items staging bins for production are cleaned daily and receiving bin is cleaned out daily. Maintain a clean and neat warehouse; ensure daily housekeeping is performed. Perform inventories with daily/weekly cycle counts as necessary. Data entry of shipping and receiving documentation within the NAV/scanners computer system. Ability to make bar code labels for raw materials, supplies, etc. as needed. Responsible for monitoring food safety. All other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. Computer Skills, math, and writing skills required. Able to lift 50 pounds of raw material bags. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task on any type of project. Must be detail oriented. Meet production deadlines. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools; or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear taste or smell. The associate must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
