In this essential role, you’ll operate a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment to support the seamless movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Your expertise will help ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory processes—all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts—including clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers—to load, unload, and transport materials. Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory and update warehouse management systems. Support daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are handled with care and efficiency. Conduct routine equipment inspections and adhere to OSHA safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines. Participate in ongoing training for equipment use, safety practices, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center. Proficiency with RF scanners and familiarity with warehouse inventory systems. Solid understanding of OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards. Experience with loading and unloading activities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
