About the

Role:

As a Forklift Driver at WorldWise Plastics , Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products within our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts to transport goods safely and accurately, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. You will be expected to maintain a high level of safety and compliance with all operational protocols while handling various types of materials. Additionally, you will assist in inventory management by accurately loading and unloading shipments, ensuring that all items are accounted for. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet production goals and deliver quality service to our clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid forklift operator certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with inventory management systems. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in material handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse and production areas. Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement and organization of goods. Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs to supervisors. Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials moved and stored. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include proficiency in operating forklifts, which is essential for safely transporting materials throughout the facility. Attention to detail is crucial when loading and unloading shipments to ensure accuracy in inventory management. Strong communication skills will be utilized when coordinating with team members and supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency. Additionally, problem-solving skills will come into play when addressing any operational challenges that may arise during daily tasks. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with inventory management systems, will enhance your ability to track materials effectively and contribute to overall operational success. 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm 8 hours 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:00am 8 hours 40 regular hours + Overtime as needed
