Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Forklift Operator position with a local Hardwood Manufacturing Plant. This position requires previous forklift experience and will pay $19.00 per hour. The hours are M-F from 6:00 A.M.-2:30 P.M. with the flexibility to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities:
Read and understand order sheets of material to pull Demonstrate the ability to learn and use computer skills Utilize forklift to carry bulky/large lifts of up to 7,000 lbs. in a busy warehouse with workers present Utilize forklift to load/unload flatbeds and containers Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have experience with a 30,000+lb Forklift Must be detail oriented Must have years of experience in driving a forklift with a heavy/awkward load in a busy warehouse environment Previous experience with loading/unloading flatbeds and containers Must be willing to work overtime as needed due to shipment arrivals Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of
