Forklift Driver Job Description We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to work in a cold storage environment. This role involves operating Reach Truck/Stand-Up forklifts in conditions averaging 34 degrees in the warehouse and 4 degrees in the freezer. Cold suits and gear are provided on the first day. Responsibilities include picking orders based on computer screen instructions, loading pallets, and preparing them for shipment. Candidates must be comfortable using tablets/computers and have excellent attendance, especially during the training period. Responsibilities Operate Reach Truck/Stand-Up forklifts in a cold storage environment. Pick orders from warehouse locations using computer screens on forklifts. Load and prepare pallets for shipment to customers. Maintain good attendance, particularly during the training period. Essential Skills Experience with Reach Truck and Stand-Up forklift operations. Proficiency in inventory management and material handling. Ability to pick, load, pack, and ship orders efficiently. Comfortable using RF scanners and order picking technology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a warehouse worker, order selector, or order picker. Familiarity with cold storage environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a cold storage environment with temperatures of 34 degrees in the warehouse and 4 degrees in the freezer. Cold suits and gear are provided. Day and night shifts are available with varying hours from Sunday to Saturday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
