Adecco is looking for Distribution Associates to work with a leadingpany in the automotive industry in LaVergne, TN.

Pay Rate:

$18.50/hr

Shift:

M-F 6:00 pm•2:30 am

Orientation Schedule:

1st day•4:00 pm•2:30 am, return to regular schedule the next day

Position Summary:

The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the DC Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintainsplete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

Marks pallets with identifying store information Uses lift equipment (manual pallet jack for Worldpac or Forklift (Advance Auto will certify)) as needed once training and certification arepleted Pick and stage parts for store replenishment Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner) Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.

Use basic math accurately:

add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,mon fractions, and decimals Shift Requirements Candidates must make amitment to work their full scheduled shift. The client is asking for flexibility to help on other shifts as a nice-to-have!! Required Overtime including weekends and holidays may be requested with little notice.

Special Requirements:

Must pass a forklift test with a score above 85%.
No previous employment with Advance Auto Parts preferred.
No requests for time off within the first 60 days of assignment.

PPE and Dress Code:

No open-toed shoes.
No cell phones on the floor.
Warehouse has AC but is typically hot.
Appropriate attire required (e.g., no thin strap tank tops, no visible undergarments).

Pay Details:

$18.50 per hour
