Material Handlers / Forklift Operators Position Available In Rutherford, Tennessee

Volt has partnered with a top company in Nashville to help identify multiple Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to start ASAP. As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator you will: Operate forklifts in a safe manner Be responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of picking, transacting, cycle count and inventory. Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal incremental deadlines. Build and pack out shipments, assuring proper labeling and documentation. Communicate professionally via email with Program Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor and customer contacts regarding the status of parts and shipments. Coordinate with offsite personnel for cycle count and inventory as necessary. Actively seek ways to improve processes. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned by management These positions are temp to hire. Hours are 1st shift, 7am•3:30pm and 2nd shift 4pm•1:30am.

Requirements:

1•2 years of forklift Experience as a material handler or in shipping and receiving is ideal Be able to pass a 7 year criminal pre-employment background check and drug test

Pay Rate:
