The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to move materials and products efficiently within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials within the warehouse. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and pallets using heavy lifting techniques. Build and organize product stacks for efficient storage and retrieval. Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including pallet jacks and clamp trucks. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving loads up to 50 pounds or more. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
