General Summary…. The Forklift Operator II is primarilyresponsible for safely operating complex powered material handlingequipment (includes the Order Picker, Turret, Drexel, etc.) for thepurpose of product receipt, storage and order fulfillment. Thisposition is responsible for product safety, quality, legality, andintegrity. This position will be responsible for… Full case orderpicking for replenishment, customer orders and packagingcomponents. Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rackstorage system. Quality control to ensure accuracy of alltransactions. Loading and unloading of pallets and cases fromtrucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment. Sorting, buildingand wrapping product to pallets to ensure compliance to customerexpectation. Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performingdaily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks. Performother distribution work functions as needed due to business volumeand need. You might be a great fit if…. Education/Experience Highschool diploma or equivalent. 1 years’ experience with daily powerequipment operations preferred. 6-months minimum is required. Mustmeet all PPE and fall protection requirements. Ability to operatepowered complex material handling equipment, i.e. Order Picker,Turret, Drexel, etc. Not afraid of working on equipment at extendedheights. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail andflexibility in meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Customer service driven Strong team player.
