The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization’s programs and initiatives. This role requires strong technical writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for supporting our mission through effective grant acquisition. Duties Conduct thorough research on potential funding sources and grant opportunities relevant to our organization’s goals. Write compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate program objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes. Edit and proofread grant proposals to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to guidelines. Collaborate with program staff to develop project descriptions and budgets that align with grant requirements. Maintain accurate records of submitted proposals and track their status using Raiser Edge or similar database systems. Manage contracts associated with awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Provide technical writing support for reports and documentation related to grant-funded projects. Assist in program development by identifying needs and opportunities for new initiatives based on funding trends. Qualifications Proven experience in grant proposal writing with a successful track record of securing funding. Strong research skills to identify potential grants and funding opportunities. Excellent proofreading and editing abilities to ensure high-quality submissions. Familiarity with contract management processes is preferred. Proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Experience using Raiser Edge or similar grant management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Has a valid passport or can obtain a valid passport.
