This comprehensive approach integrates students’ social-emotional growth with academic success. This position is instrumental in driving transformative change within schools, ensuring the holistic development of students while fostering sustainable practices within school communities.

Start Date:

Key Responsibilities:

Coaching and Vision Development:

 Guide school teams in developing a clear vision for Whole Child initiatives by assessing current conditions, setting actionable goals, and building sustainable habits to achieve long-term success.

Workshop Design and Facilitation:

 Design and lead professional development workshops tailored to support the adoption of the Whole Child Model, ensuring alignment with the unique needs of rural schools.

Resource Utilization:

 Leverage existing resources to provide schools with the tools and strategies to implement the Whole Child Model effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Inspire and empower school teams, administrators, and community stakeholders to prioritize and invest in the Whole Child approach.

Required:

Master’s Degree in a related field.
A minimum of three years of related work experience is needed, with a preference for candidates with experience in post-secondary education.
Demonstrated expertise in social-emotional learning (SEL) within elementary school settings.
Proven experience in designing and delivering professional development for educators.
Strong relationship-building and coaching skills to foster collaboration and drive positive outcomes.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Sensitivity to and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within educational settings.
Willingness and ability to travel to schools across the region to provide on-site support.
A demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes for diverse and underserved student populations.
