The Foundation has embarked on a $600M + campaign, as such, the AVP & Chief Development Officer for Baptist Health Foundation is responsible,in concert with the CEO, for the planning, operation, and coordination of system-wide philanthropy and as such, will be responsible for developing all aspects of theprehensive and on
- going development program with an emphasis on major and principal gifts.
The
AVP & CDO
will oversee, coordinate and be responsible for implementing and sustaining a successful fundraising program, including individual and major gifts, donor upgrading, corporate and foundation gifts, special events, capital campaigns, planned giving and all related activities necessary to engendermunity engagement and charitable giving in support of Baptist Health’s mission ofmunity service. The
AVP & CDO
will solicit donations and cultivate relationships with donors in order to develop, secure, upgrade and maintain gift ie sources for the present and long-term financial support of Baptist Health. Will cultivate and maintain strong engagement with assigned entity CEO’s and Institute leaders. As AVP/CDO, position will carry a $5M
- $7M+ personal goal and a team goal of $10M
- $12M + minimum, with a personal portfolio on average of 125 active prospects and 340 total active/in stewardship. Estimated salary range for this position is $142599.25

Qualifications
Degrees:
Bachelors.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science required, Graduate degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in fund-raising and donor relations, including a minimum of four years in a leadership position securing principal and major gifts, as well as leading a team of professional fundraisers.
Track record of building relationships with major and principal gift level donors, ideally directly soliciting and securing gifts of $1M
- $100M.
Record of planning, strategy development, and managingplex, long-cycle relationships toward goal of philanthropic investment.
Experience in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and providing stewardship for major and principal gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations.
Experience in developing, implementing and executing on long term goals and strategies.
Proven record of coaching and managing team of fundraising professionals and support staff.
Providing guidance and strategic counsel to help advance their portfolios.
