Position Overview Recapturing the vision is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our Development team. The Development Officer is responsible for creating and executing strategies to cultivate and manage a portfolio of mid-level donors. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Chief Development Officer. Duties and Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of corporate and individual donors, identifying & cultivating strong relationships to secure meaningful and sustained contributions. Develop and implement targeted solicitation strategies to support fundraising priorities. Drive efforts to meet and exceed annual fundraising goals through strategic engagement and stewardship. Oversee the creation of donor-facing materials and recognition programs that align with branding and messaging standards. Collaborate on the planning and execution of donor cultivation events and engagement opportunities. Maintain accurate donor records and generate reports using DonorPerfect CRM, leveraging data and technology to inform strategy and improve outcomes. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, or a related field. Three or more years of nonprofit development experience or related fields such as business development or high-volume sales. Highly organized, ambitious, and proactive problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with public speaking. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with a strong eagerness to integrate emerging technologies into workflows. Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend events. Valid driver’s license required.
