Role:

The Youth Development Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of young individuals within the community. This position focuses on creating and implementing programs that promote social, emotional, and educational development for youth. The specialist will work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to identify the needs of young people and provide tailored support. By facilitating workshops, mentoring sessions, and recreational activities, the specialist aims to empower youth to reach their full potential. Ultimately, the goal is to create a positive impact on the lives of young individuals, helping them to become responsible and engaged members of society.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working with youth in a mentoring or educational capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a relevant field. Certification in youth development or related areas. Experience in program development and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement youth programs that address the specific needs of the community. Conduct assessments to identify the strengths and challenges faced by youth participants. Facilitate workshops and activities that promote life skills, leadership, and personal development. Collaborate with local schools, parents, and community organizations to enhance support systems for youth. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
