Job DescriptionLeadsand directs assigned areas of the Foundation. Establishes andmaintains comprehensive programs and services that meet the demandsof healthcare fundraising and fulfill the vision and mission of theFoundation in an organized, effective, innovative, andcost-effective manner. Broadens and maximizes support forChildren’s Healthcare of Atlanta by meeting or exceeding an annualindividual solicitor fundraising target of $500k or more and/ormanaging direct report(s) to meet a team fundraising target.
Provides exceptional donor recognition and value for gifts.
Promotes relationships with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlantacommunity, including trustees, doctors, staff, and volunteers byencouraging use of their skills and knowledge in support ofphilanthropic efforts.

Develops annual goals and implements action plans in assignedareas to maximize Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta fundraisingsupport. Works closely with Foundation leadership and other Foundationteams to create and implement a comprehensive systemwidesolicitation program in assigned areas, encouraging ongoing supportand stewarding prospects and donors through the fundraisingcontinuum. Develops and implements strategies for identifying potentialprospects and growing donor base. Represents Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta appropriately atmiscellaneous community functions, networking and nurturing new andexisting relationships. Achieves annual revenue and other targets in areas ofresponsibility while minimizing cost to raise a dollar. Sets expectations, develops plans, and manages processes toprovide exceptional donor recognition and stewardship. Maintains close association with and expert knowledge ofChildren’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Maintains up-to-date records on both prospects and donors viaRaiser’s Edge. Continually demonstrates team player attitude and positiveapproach. Supports and encourages staff professional development bycommunicating with direct reports and peers in other organizationsto generate new fundraising ideas. Participates in educational programs, professionalorganizations, and development activities to maintain knowledge ofnational trends and promote leading-edge performance. May manage/direct staff.
