Job Summary We’re looking for a Grant Strategist who does more than write proposals. We want a strategic closer — someone who’s driven to win, builds sustainable funding plans, and crafts proposals that get results. This role begins at 25 hours per week with a pathway to full-time based on performance. You must be experienced, outcomes-focused, and committed to client success. You’ll join a team of high-performers who push each other to deliver excellence every time. Responsibilities Lead strategy and development for competitive grant proposals Identify funders aligned with client goals and missions Build funder pipelines and annual grant calendars Write compelling narratives, letters of intent, and full applications Collaborate with internal departments and clients to gather data Track application outcomes and funder communication Develop strategies to support long-term sustainability for clients Attend client meetings, webinars, and community partner events Qualifications Minimum 3 years grant writing experience with a proven record of success Strong research, writing, and storytelling skills Knowledge of nonprofit operations, governance, and budgeting Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (a plus) Experience with competitive, high-stakes funding environments Emotionally invested in client outcomes — you care about the win!
