is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans, individuals with disabilities, and at-risk populations through transitional housing, mental health services, mentorship, and support. We are seeking a results-driven Grant Consultant to help secure funding that supports our expanding programs and services. Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Consultant to join our team. The Grant Consultant will play a critical role in the financial sustainability and growth of our organization by identifying grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing submissions from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks, particularly in intellectual property law, and will be adept at strategic planning and compliance management. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage documentation and contracts while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Duties Provide expert advice on intellectual property law and related legal matters. Develop and write proposals that align with client needs and organizational goals. Conduct strategic planning sessions to identify opportunities for improvement within client organizations. Manage records and documents efficiently, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Oversee contract management processes, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations through diligent oversight of documentation practices. Utilize systems such as DocuSign for effective document management and electronic signatures. Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify grant opportunities from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies Develop and write persuasive, accurate, and tailored grant proposals and supporting documentation Ensure timely submission of all proposals, letters of intent, and supporting materials Maintain records of submitted proposals, award statuses, and reporting requirements Collaborate with leadership to align proposals with organizational priorities Skills Proven experience in successful nonprofit grant writing (2+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and its application in various contexts. Proficiency in proposal writing with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Familiarity with compliance management practices to ensure adherence to legal standards. Excellent records management skills, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate documentation. Experience in document management systems, particularly with tools like DocuSign. Ability to engage in strategic planning discussions and contribute valuable insights. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and able to work independently Familiarity with housing, mental health, or veteran support services is a plus Commitment to the mission of

Compensation:

This is a commission-only role. The Grant Consultant will be compensated 3% of the total amount of each successfully awarded grant . Payment will be issued upon confirmation and receipt of grant funds.
