The goal of this role is to deepen donor engagement, encourage continued support, and help grow philanthropic giving to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with a portfolio of donors through regular outreach, thoughtful communication, and personalized engagement strategies. Use our donor management system (Raiser’s Edge) to track donor interactions, manage follow-ups, and support ongoing fundraising efforts. Help analyze donor giving patterns and assist in creating plans to increase donor retention and loyalty. Research donors using tools like Donor Search, Insightful, or online sources to understand their interests and potential. Attend and support Dogs Inc events—both virtual and in-person—to connect with current and potential donors. Collaborate with team members to encourage current donors to introduce their networks to Dogs Inc. Support special projects and initiatives related to fundraising and donor engagement as needed.

Qualifications:

Donor-centered focus, exceptional customer service, excellent written, verbal, e-mail communication skills, excellent planning and organizational skills, strong project management, and strong collaboration with peers. Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and minimum of two years of fundraising, customer relationship management or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:
