Summary As the Development Director at Arts Garage, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our fundraising strategies and community engagement initiatives. This position is essential for enhancing our brand as a unique arts venue while ensuring sustainable growth and support for our diverse programming. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including grant writing and donor cultivation. Manage relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, and community partners. Oversee marketing initiatives to promote Arts Garage programs and events effectively. Plan and execute fundraising events that align with our mission and engage the community. Collaborate with staff to create compelling grant proposals that secure funding for programs. Utilize databases to track donor engagement and manage fundraising efforts efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in nonprofit management or development, preferably in the arts sector. Strong skills in grant proposal writing and fundraising strategies. Excellent communication skills for public relations and donor engagement. Experience in digital marketing is a plus but not required. Ability to plan events that resonate with our community’s interests.
