ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the planning and execution of Association special events including the Inspiration Breakfast, Anniversary Celebrations, Annual Giving Campaign events, Heritage Club Dinner, and assist with branch events such as the Golf Classic, Corporate Cup Challenge, and Baila Conmigo. Responsibilities include logistics coordination, volunteer and committee recruitment, and ensuring all events reflect the YMCA mission. Oversee all administrative functions of the Financial Development department, including gift and pledge entry, donor acknowledgements, reporting, donor record management, stewardship, and annual donation summaries. Develop and maintain systems for timely, appropriate donor acknowledgements for all fundraising efforts, including Annual Giving, Endowment, Capital Campaigns, and special events. Manage data for all gifts and pledges, especially for the Annual Giving Campaign. Regularly analyze and report on campaign performance using key metrics. Track donations by source and purpose, and provide timely, consistent reports. Oversees the management and maintenance for the database of all donors, prospective donors, and prospect/donor correspondence with accurate and recent contact information. Assists the Senior Director of Development with all logistics related to meetings, events, and trainings for the Annual Giving Campaign, Capital Campaign, and other fundraising initiatives. Support the creation and distribution of donor communications such as newsletters, impact reports, social media content, event invitations, and fundraising collateral (including Endowment marketing via Crescendo). Oversee volunteer efforts across the Association, including training, communication, tracking volunteer hours, and maintaining resources for both branch and Association office volunteers. Represents the Senior Director of Development and CEO/President in the community as needed. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent Three or more years of professional experience with a background in fundraising in the YMCA or another non-profit preferred. Ability to relate to top community leaders and diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and oral communications, critical thinking and proofreading skills. Ability to create interpretive materials to enable potential donors to understand the YMCA and how they contribute to the achievement of its mission. Ability and willingness to work evening and weekend events, meetings and activities when required.
