The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies that support our mission and initiatives. This position requires strong communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to building relationships with donors and stakeholders. The Fundraiser will work closely with various teams to ensure successful fundraising campaigns and events. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans that align with the organization’s goals. Conduct market research to identify potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. Utilize software tools such as Raiser’s Edge for managing donor databases and tracking fundraising progress. Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from various sources. Maintain relationships with current donors while actively seeking new prospects through public relations efforts. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials for fundraising campaigns. Organize and oversee fundraising events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively engage participants. Provide exceptional customer service to donors, answering inquiries and fostering long-term relationships. Experience Proven experience in fundraising or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of strategic planning principles and public relations practices. Familiarity with databases for tracking donations and managing donor information. Excellent research skills to identify potential funding opportunities. Experience in grant proposal writing is highly desirable.
