Schedule:

Full-Time (37.5-40 hrs/week) Organic Growers School (OGS) is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Development Director to lead and grow our fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, and nonprofit fundraising. This role manages donor relations, sponsorships, and special events, and collaborates closely with the Executive Director and Board to ensure long-term financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement a multi-faceted fundraising plan Cultivate and steward major donors and sponsors Manage donor communications, campaigns, and events Oversee CRM systems and fundraising tracking Represent OGS at community and donor events

Qualifications:

3+ years in development/fundraising Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experience with major gifts, sponsorships, and donor programs Strong organizational and project management skills Knowledge of sustainable agriculture or WNC region a plus
