Director of Development 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 743 Galleria Drive Extension, Johnstown, PA 15904 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and driven Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts and enhance our organization’s impact. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nonprofit management, market research, and events management. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including volunteers and donors. The Development Director will be instrumental in developing and implementing fundraising strategies that align with our mission. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals. Conduct market research to identify potential funding sources and trends in nonprofit fundraising. Manage relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to foster long-term support. Utilize software tools for effective communication and outreach campaigns. Collaborate with the ED and other stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives. In collaboration with the ED, develop annual grant strategy and goals that build and sustain relationships with private foundations. Establish ongoing processes and practices related to Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Endowment, Donor Relationship Management, and Stewardship Functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in fundraising within a nonprofit environment. • Proficiency in using software tools for development purposes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience in volunteer management and event planning is highly desirable. A commitment to the mission of the organization and a passion for community engagement.

$50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
